Review:
We went the first week it opened so I'm still going to give the restaurant one more chance, however I really thought the food was terrible honestly. We got the open faced corned beef rueben and it basically came as an open corned beef sandwich. Barely any sauce so it was dry and there was no sauerkraut or anything like that either. We asked for more dressing, but it took close to 10 minutes to get it. We also had the open faced steak sandwich which was also terrible. The meat was full of grizzle to a point where we couldn't even eat it. There was more bread than anything. Again, I have to give the restaurant a second chance because it could be just the fact that they just opened and it was a little chaotic. However, I will say that I've heard the meat loaf is outstanding.

I ate there last night for the first time....had corned beef and cabbage...potatoes and cabbage not cooked enough. Manager stopped by to ask how our food was and I told him, he said he would tell the cook...he should have asked me if I wanted something else like rice, mashed potatoes, a different veggie....bad call on his part...the place is beautifully decorated....I would not eat there again....due to the managers not helping the situation and leaving me with under cooked food.

Review:
Ate there last night for the first time. Food lacks taste. Extremely bland. Nothing special about any of the food. Extremely disappointed. Won't waste my money for dinner again. Even the Irish soda bread lacked flavor! Decor was so-so. My first year interior design student could have done a better job.

A real disappointment regarding the food. The servers are also very inexperienced.

I've eaten there 3 times. Each time the food was terrible. Chicken quesadilla, chicken sandwich and corned beef sandwich. All terrible. I don't know how you can mess up a simple sandwich. The corn beef was very dry. Even the bread is bad. My girlfriends wrap was also bad. This is not a place to eat. A good selection of beers. Go have a drink. Do not eat there.

What are they talking about? The food is great and so is the service. The other reviews must be written by seniors who are always picky and major pains. I don't work there but I know people that do, and they are very knowledgeable and informative about the menu and entertainment calendar.

I ate there last week and found the food to be very good. The bread pudding was to "die for" and the potato leek soup was the best I ever had. As a senior I am very picky..so if we say it is good, it has to be good. Good luck to Shannon Rose, and welcome to Woodbridge.

We just got back from our third or fourth visit to Shannon Rose Woodbridge since they opened this Summer. Unfortunately we had a horrible time tonight. The food is reasonably OK, but tonight for some reason they had bagpipers walking around the place and playing ver very loudly most of the time we were there! Unbelievable...we couldn't hear each other and even had trouble speaking with the server. I can't imagine how management thinks this is a good idea. It'll be a loooong time before we go back there, if ever.

Every 17th of the month is St. "Practice" Day. They get ready for St. Patrick's Day and have the day very festive with bagpipers and giveaways.

Review:
A friend and I went for lunch 2 weeks ago. Open faced reuben was nothing more than a open faced corned beef sandwich, no sauerkraut, sauce, etc., and had to ask 3 times for mustard. Corned beef soup was suggested as starter by waitress as "delicious." Minced corned beef with carrots in bland broth. Had to look for server each time we needed something and never offered refill of drinks. Will not revisit.

Review:
Have eaten there three times, wanted to really like the place, being Irish myself. All three meals were terrible. The other reviews are correct. The corned beef sandwich was dry, tough and on stale rye. The place is beautiful, go have drinks, go somewhere else for dinner.

Review:
Have been there for drinks w/ my boyfriend & friends. Found the atmosphere nice when you can sit which is usually often but unfortunately on some nights that's not always possible because it's busy or because it's not busy enough for the upstairs to be open. The men enjoyed their beers but I prefer mixed drinks which sadly were weak. As many have stated previously the food was not very good but I can only speak about the appetizers. They were so bad we had no desire to have dinner. All in all my suggestion is if you're in good company you can have a good time just about anywhere so by all means go but only order beer.
